What is Trial Balance and how to download it?

A Trial Balance is a financial report that lists all the ledger account balances (both debits and credits) at a given point in time. It ensures that the total debit balances equal the total credit balances, verifying the accuracy of bookkeeping records before preparing financial statements.

The List of Ledger Accounts provides a comprehensive view of all asset, liability, equity, revenue, and expense accounts. It includes details of the total debit and credit balances for each account, ensuring they are balanced. The report also shows the opening balances from the previous period and the closing balances for the current period. Any adjustments made to accounts, such as depreciation, provisions, or corrections, are reflected as well. If there are any errors or discrepancies, the trial balance will not match, indicating possible issues in journal entries, ledger postings, or calculations.
