Experiencing issues when running Financial Year-End Processing (FYEP) multiple times or simultaneously? How to fix this?

Financial Year-End Processing (FYEP) is an essential step in finalizing the accounting data for a given financial year. However, users may sometimes experience issues when attempting to run the process multiple times or simultaneously.

Why does this Issue occur?

The FYEP process involves consolidating and finalizing large volumes of financial data, which takes time to process depending on the volume of transactions. Running the process multiple times before the previous execution is completed can lead to errors or system conflicts.

Best Practices to Avoid Issues:

1. Wait for the Ongoing Process to complete – If you have already initiated FYEP, allow it to finish before attempting to run it again.

2. Check Processing Status – You can monitor the progress of the process in the Task Reports Section to see if it is still in progress.
Navigate to Task >> Task Reports Section to view the status.

3. Avoid Running Simultaneous Processes – Running multiple instances of FYEP at the same time can overload the system and cause errors.

4. Ensure Stable Internet Connectivity – A slow or interrupted connection may cause delays in processing.
